Members of The Fiber Arts Network will hold a Spin In at the Visitors Center in Lewisburg on Dec. 7 from noon to three. Member of the guild will be demonstrating spinning, weaving, and other fiber arts. They would like to invite anyone interested in the fiber arts to stop by. In addition to demonstrations there will be equipment available for those interested to try. Members will be happy to answer any questions related to fiber. If you are a spinner or knitter we invite you to bring your wheel or needles and join in the fun.
The Fiber Arts Network has been in existence since 1982. They meet in the Ann Porterfield Studio at Carnegie Hall. The Guild has available for its members equipment for almost all the fiber arts from bobbin lace to weaving. In addition they house a large library devoted to the fiber arts. The library is available to the public by appointment, but books can only be checked out by members.
