Shelby Jean Loudermilk

Frankford– Shelby Jean Loudermilk, 86, passed away Monday, Jan. 2, 2023, at Lewis Gale Medical Center, Salem, VA.

Born Oct. 11, 1936, in Frankford, she was the daughter of the late Creed and Etta Jane Darlington Blankenship.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Roy Loudermilk; second husband, Wayne Loudermilk; son, Roy Lee Loudermilk; and ten brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her children, Wanda Goins (Dale) of Frankford, Gary Loudermilk of Bellburn, Larry Loudermilk of Sperryville, VA, Steve Loudermilk (Charlene) of Quinwood, Phillip Loudermilk (Patsy) of Summersville, and Rex Loudermilk (Shalana) of Quinwood; 16 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m., Friday, Jan. 6, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, Lewisburg, with Pastor Robert Hefner officiating. Burial will follow in the Enon Baptist Church Cemetery, Frankford. Visitation will be on Friday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
