As required by West Virginia State Code and West Virginia State Board of Education Policy, the Greenbrier County Board of Education has adjusted the 2015-16 school calendar in order to make up instructional days lost to weather-related school cancellations. The following adjustments to the school calendar were approved by the Board on Mar. 1:
• Mar. 31 is rescheduled as an instructional day
• Mar. 30 is rescheduled as an instructional day
• Mar. 29 is rescheduled as an instructional day
• Apr. 1 is rescheduled as an instructional day
• May 26 is rescheduled as an instructional day
• May 27 is rescheduled as an instructional day
• May 31 is rescheduled as an instructional day
• June 1 is rescheduled as an instructional day
• June 2 is rescheduled as an instructional day
• June 3 is rescheduled as an instructional day
• June 6 is rescheduled as an instructional day. (Last day for students assuming no more days missed.)
Good Friday, Mar. 25, and Monday, Mar. 28, remain intact as scheduled out of calendar days. Any additional cancellations may result in more instructional days being added beginning June 7.
