Russell Floyd Phillips, 83, of Rainelle passed away on Monday, Sept. 8, 2025, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
He was born on Feb. 22, 1942, at Duo; he was the son of the late Orvil Lee Phillips and Pauline Bertha Arbogast Phillips.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his step-son, Dennis Walker “Nick” who Russell loved as his own son; sisters, Ruth, Connie and Judy; brothers, Orvil” Sunny”, Donald, Wayne, Michael and Paul.
Survivors include his wife Bertha Harrah Phillips; sisters, Gladys and Mary; step-sons, Chuck and Chad; several nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren and others who knew him.
Per his wishes, he will be cremated and no service.
