The Ronceverte River Festival will return to Ronceverte Island Park on Friday, June 13, and Saturday, June 14, offering a full slate of family-friendly events, entertainment, and activities.

The festivities will begin on Friday evening with the parade lineup starting at 5:30 p.m., followed by the Grand Parade at 7 p.m. At 7:30 p.m., festival attractions such as vendor booths, inflatables, and the Duck Pond will open to the public.

From 8 to 10 p.m., a karaoke contest, Ducky Idol, featuring emcee Lee Dean will take place, with cash prizes awarded to winners (First Place, $200; Second Place, $100, and Third Place, $50). To pre-register for Ducky Idol, email duckykaraoke@gmail.com with your name, address, phone number, and the name of the song and artist you’d like to sing. (If you have your own music track, please include it as an attachment to your email.) On-site registration begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Amphitheater. Ronceverte Raiders football sign-ups will also be available during the evening. The day will conclude with an 8:30 p.m. performance by the Aim High Canines Show.

Saturday’s schedule will kick off early with a fishing derby beginning at 7 a.m. Car show registration will open at 8:30 a.m., and the Lions Club will host a community breakfast starting at 9 a.m.

By 10 a.m., the Tahoe Farm Club Car Show will be underway. A pet parade will take place at Shelter #2, and vendors, inflatables, and the Duck Pond will continue throughout the day. Ronceverte Raiders sign-ups will remain open as well.

Children’s games will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by a silent auction at Shelter #1 at 11 a.m. A 3-on-3 basketball tournament is scheduled for 11:30 a.m., and Irish road bowling will begin at noon. The Aim High Canines Show will return at 12:30 p.m.

Duck ticket sales will close at 3 p.m., and another canine performance is scheduled at that time. The Great Rubber Ducky Race will take place at 4 p.m., and the Duck Hunt will commence at 6 p.m.

The evening entertainment lineup includes live music from Non-Friction at 6:30 p.m., followed by a performance by Walker Montgomery at 8:30 p.m. The Aim High Canines will take the stage once more during the evening, and the festival will close with a fireworks show at 10 p.m.
