At the Ronceverte City Council meeting on Sept. 8, the Council recognized two individuals for their service on committees. Mayor Smith presented them with certificates.
Keith Morgan served on the Parks and Recreation Commission. His term ended July 1, 2014. Over the years Keith has been involved with the Ronceverte River Festival and was instrumental in the completion of the Walking Track project at Island Park. In the past, Keith has served on many committees as well as the Library Board, City Council and as Mayor of Ronceverte.
Bob Baker served on the Ronceverte Planning Commission. His term ended June 30, 2014. Bob provided valuable insight to the Planning Commission with his experience as a Realtor. Additionally, he worked on the Comprehensive Plan and helped with its development prior to the end of his term. Bob currently serves on City Council.
