Ronceverte – Roger Lee Morgan, 74, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2020, at his residence with his family by his side.
Roger was born July 5, 1946, in Ronceverte, the son of the late Gerald O. and Ruth C. Morgan.
He was a protestant, was an avid hunter and enjoyed painting pictures. Roger had worked with VOCA.
Other than his parents he was preceded in death by three infant siblings.
Surviving are his wife, Lucy Gunnoe Morgan; daughters, Stephanie Williams and husband Junior of Organ Cave and Angela Remley and husband Bernard of Sinks Grove; stepson, Pastor Evan Olachea of Kentucky; and grandchildren, Corey Morgan, Joseph Remley, Joshua Olachea and Julia Olachia.
Graveside services will be conducted Thursday, July 9, at 2 p.m. at the Morgan Cemetery near Ronceverte with Pastor Evan Olachea officiating.
