The Robert C. Byrd Clinic (RCBC) is pleased to announce a partnership with the Greenbrier Humane Society for a community event called “Paws-4-Wellness.” The collaboration aims to promote the health and well-being of both humans and animals in Greenbrier County.
The event will be held on Saturday, June 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in front of the Lewisburg Wal-Mart.
The RCBC will be offering free blood pressure checks and glucose level checks at the event. Additionally, they have partnered with Mako Labs to provide $25 lab tests that do not require insurance. These labs will measure HBA1C and lipid panels (including triglycerides, HDL/LDL, and total cholesterol).
The event will also serve as a supply drive for the Greenbrier Humane Society. The following items are urgently needed: bleach, HE laundry detergent, Dawn dish soap, paper towels, 13-gallon trash bags, non-clumping cat litter, contractor trash bags, dry dog food, dry cat food, small bites dry dog food, gallon-sized Ziploc bags, towels, Clorox wipes, clip-on leashes, various collars, cat/dog beds, meat stage 1 baby food (turkey, ham, chicken), all-size stainless-steel bowls.
“We are excited to partner with the Greenbrier Humane Society for this important event,” said Joshua Barclay, Marketing Director for the Robert C.
