River Road (CR 48) near Ronceverte will be closed to through traffic beginning Monday, Apr. 17, at 8 a.m. for bridge repair work.

The project is located approximately 2.1 miles from the junction with US 219 and the bridge will be closed for this work. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the bridge will reopen before sunset. Local traffic will have access to all properties along River Road via CR 56, Alta Vista Road and CR 62, Hokes Mill Road.

Also, Bellburn Road, near Quinwood, will be closed to through traffic according to James F. Moore, District Nine Maintenance Engineer.

Bridge repair work will begin on CR 44/2, Bellburn Road, on Wednesday, Apr. 19, at 8 a.m. The project is located approximately 0.15 miles from the junction with WV 20 and the bridge will be closed for this work. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the bridge will reopen before sunset. Local traffic will not have public access to properties along Bellburn Road between the hours of 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
