U.S. Representative Evan Jenkins (R-WV) recently announced that the Greenbrier County Airport Authority was awarded a $190,000 grant from the Federal Aviation Administration to reconstruct taxiway lighting.
“This grant will allow the Greenbrier Valley Airport to make important repairs to make the airport even safer for passengers and crew. This airport is an important commercial and general aviation airport, connecting the Greenbrier Valley to communities across West Virginia and surrounding states. Infrastructure is the key to growing and attracting jobs to our region, and I am working every day to secure the funding needed to improve our economy and enhance our quality of life,” Rep. Jenkins said.
