White Sulphur High School Class of 1965
will hold its 50th Class Reunion Friday – Sunday, Oct. 2, 3 and 4, in conjunction with the White Sulphur Springs Fall Fling Weekend. Headlining the reunion will be the class banquet on Saturday evening, Oct. 3, in the Ware room of the White Sulphur Springs Civic Center and class members are reminded reservations are due for the banquet by telephoning Lou Clinebell (Mrs. Lance) Mazey at 1-540-366-0115. The catered dinner will begin with a social hour at 6 p.m. Special guests for the reunion will be faculty and administers who were serving White Sulphur High School in the 1964-65 school year. Members of the class who had transferred to another school before graduation are also being invited to make reservations as well. The previous evening, the class members are invited to the all-class reception in the Civic Center gym where there will be a roll call of classes during the evening. On Sunday, Oct. 4, the Class of ‘65 will hold a family picnic at the home of Mike Williams on Rt. 219 near Maxwelton beginning at noon. The $25 fee for the reunion will cover the food for both the banquet and picnic. “We have over 50 reservations thus far,” Mazey noted, in making a final call for class members to make plans to attend. There were 79 graduates in the class and a memorial will be held for deceased class members.
