Descendants of JC “Jimmy” and Norma Myrtle Sawyers Bennett will have a family reunion Saturday, July 30 at Hollowell Park, Matthews Street, Lewisburg. The 55th Hedrick-Shepherd Reunion will be held Saturday, Aug. 6 at Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church at Fort Spring. The meal will be at 12 noon with meat and eating utensils provided. The descendants of James H. Hodges and Jeremiah O’Brien will meet in a Reunion Sunday, Aug. 21 at Ronceverte Island Park Shelter #1. We’ll gather at noon with dinner at 1 p.m. Bring photos, family tree information, past reunion information, and other memorabilia to share. Also bring addresses for family members that have moved that you want to add to our mailing list. 30-year Reunion for GEHS
Class of 1992
The GEHS Class of 1992 will hold a 30-year Reunion Saturday, Aug. 20. There will be an alumni and family social from 12 to 5 p.m. with a 1 p.m. memorial ceremony at the West Virginia State Fairgrounds, and a celebration dinner from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Big Draft Brewery.
