U.S. Representative Evan Jenkins (R-WV) announced this week that the Frankford Volunteer Fire Department has received a $50,429 Assistance to Firefighters Grant from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. The money will be used to purchase personal protective equipment for firefighters.
Also, White Sulphur Springs Emergency Medical Services has received a $53,467 Assistance to Firefighters Grant from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. The money will be used for advanced life support training equipment.
“I offer my congratulations to these firefighters and first responders for being selected for these important grants,” Rep. Jenkins said.
