On Thursday, Aug. 5, Renick Ruritan President David Ramsey presented two $1,000 scholarships at the club’s annual family picnic. The 2021 Matthew Gabbert scholarship recipients are Ozell Brown, daughter of John and Danielle Brown of Auto, and Kendra Bostic, daughter of Archie and Natasha Bostic of Renick.
Ozell will be attending New River Community & Technical College in Lewisburg this fall, while Kendra will be attending West Virginia University in Morgantown.
