Beckley-Raymond Allan Link, 74, formerly of Alderson, passed away Sunday, Aug. 16, 2020, at the Pine Lodge Nursing Home in Beckley.
He was born Apr. 17, 1946, in Pulaski, VA, a son of the late Roylence Muncy and Lillian Irene (Combs) Link.
After receiving an associate’s degree in college, Raymond went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Air Force, where he was a Commissary Officer in the military grocery store. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and the American Legion.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving and devoted wife, Deborah Joy (Green) Link; his brother, Roylence Michael Link, and his sister, Lena Rachael Link.
Raymond is survived by his brother, George Harvey Link and wife Teresa, of Portsmouth, OH; his nephews, Bradley Travis Link and wife Missy of Pulaski, VA, and Zachary Link and wife Alexandria of Portsmouth, OH; and his niece, Ashleigh Link and fiancé Dylan Warner of Indianapolis, IN.
Graveside services and burial will be held Friday, Aug. 21, at 2 p.m. at the Old Greenbrier Memorial Cemetery in Alderson with the Rev. Sam Groves officiating. Full Military honors will be provided by the Air Force.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
