Alderson Municipal Planning Commission
will meet Thursday, Jan. 2, in Alderson City Hall at 7 p.m. Christy DeMuth, AICP certified planner, from the WVU Land Use Law Clinic will meet with the Planning Commission via Skype. Christy will address two topics identified as Alderson’s needs: (1) dealing with derelict abandoned buildings, and (2) building community services and recreational facilities. These topics will become chapters in Alderson’s 10-year Comprehensive Plan. All Planning Commission meetings are open to the public. Anyone interested in planning Alderson’s future is urged to attend.
