Alderson Municipal Planning Commission
will meet Thursday, Dec. 5, in Alderson City Hall at 6 p.m. Please note this is one hour earlier than the usual meeting time, to accommodate the WVU presenters who must drive back to Morgantown that night.
• For the Dec. 5 meeting, WVU Land Use Law Clinic lead attorney Jesse Richardson and Christy DeMuth, AICP certified planner, will present results from Alderson’s Oct. 1 open house meeting; review existing and future land use maps; and identify key issues for Alderson’s 2014 Comprehensive Plan.
All Planning Commission meetings are open to the public. Anyone interested in planning Alderson’s future is most welcome to attend.
Greenbrier County Retired School Employees
will meet Friday, Dec. 13 at the Lewisburg Methodist Church. Fellowship and refreshments at 10 a.m. and the meeting will begin at 10:30. All members are invited and encouraged to attend. Any questions, call 304-645-3861.
