Pastel artist Rose Dobbins will have a month-long exhibit beginning Nov. 4 at the Greenbrier Valley Visitor Center in downtown Lewisburg. Although best known for her life-like images of animals painted in pastels, the show will also include landscapes in different mediums.
Rose and her husband moved to West Virginia from Texas 11 years ago. In addition to the beauty of the state, she attributes her accomplishments to her fellow members of Greenbrier Artists.
Dobbins was recently accepted into the annual show Season of Colors at Carnegie Hall in Lewisburg. She is also currently showing at the annual Fall Festival at the Allegheny Highlands Art Center in Clifton Forge, VA.
A reception at the Greenbrier Valley Visitor Center will be held on First Friday, Nov. 4, from 5-8 p.m.
