Deena Pack was appointed to the Ronceverte City Council on Monday, Apr. 2. She fills the remaining term of the council seat held by Bob Baker, who passed away on Mar. 3. Pack grew up in Ronceverte and graduated from Greenbrier East High School.
She went on to receive degrees from Concord University and the West Virginia University College of Law. Pack works as a case manager for the expert witness location division of a multinational media and intelligence firm. Additionally, she serves as President of the Greenbrier County Community Corrections Board, President of the Family Refuge Center Board of Directors, Vice President of the Greenbrier County Democratic Women’s Club, volunteers with the Read Aloud Program, Youth Sports, the Ronceverte Elementary PTO, and participates in other various clubs and community organizations.
Pack resides in Ronceverte with her husband, Jeff, and two children, Nathan and Jayma. Her mother, Mary Ann Kern, spent her entire professional career as a teacher at Ronceverte Elementary School. “I had a wonderful childhood with many amazing people in this town,” Pack stated, ‘”and I am happy to raise my children here, as well. The people of Ronceverte have such pride for their community, and I look forward to serving them and working with the other members of City Council.”
