Colton VanDyke took his oath of office as the newest member of the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday, Mar. 12. The oath was administered by Chief Circuit Judge Robert E. Richardson.
Colton has served as a Deputy Sheriff with the Anderson County, TN, Sheriff’s Department for the past few years.
Colton stated, “I am thankful for the opportunity to return to my home county to raise my family and serve the citizens of Greenbrier County.” Deputy VanDyke is eager to begin his new career with the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Department.
Chief Deputy Bart Baker commented, “Colton is going to be a tremendous asset to our department and the county. We look forward to his service with the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office and his continued commitment to public service for the citizens of Greenbrier County.”
