The Shear Divas, the cosmetology student organization at the New River Community and Technical College Greenbrier Valley Campus, is seeking golfers to participate in a tournament to raise money for an educational field trip to Richmond. The tournament will take place Saturday, Sept. 7, at 1 p.m. at the Lewisburg Elks Country Club in Lewisburg.
The entrance fee is $300 for a team of four. Mulligans are $40 per team for one on each side. Hole sponsorships are available for $100 per hole.
First, second and third place prizes will be awarded, along with two closest to the pin prizes and two longest drive prizes.
New River’s School of Cosmetology offers an associate degree in cosmetology and certificate programs in nail technician and esthetics. Students provide reduced cost services to the community.
