The last day to register for the spring semester at New River Community and Technical College is Jan. 8.
Spring semester classes begin on Jan. 19. New students are advised to contact the Office of Admissions as soon as possible to complete paperwork required to sign up for courses. The College will be closed for winter break from Dec. 24 through Jan. 4.
New students planning to attend in the spring should submit their application for admission by clicking on the “apply now” tab at www.newriver.edu. The application form also may be printed and mailed or completed at the Office of Admissions on any of the College’s campuses.
After applying for admission, any student seeking financial aid must submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov, using school code 039603. A student must be fully admitted in order for financial aid or loans to be processed and awarded.
