Are you thinking of starting a business? Take your first step and attend the workshop, ABCs of Starting a Business.
Learn the basics of starting a business, including the license required, choices for business legal structures, federal, state, and local business start-up requirements, marketing and management tips, financing options, and other major components of business and financial plan development.
The workshop will be held from 9:30 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Mar. 3 at New River Community and Technical College, 280 University Drive, Beaver. Instructor Tennis Parrish is a former business coach from the Women’s Business and Training Center. The course is offered through the New River CTC’s Workforce Education Program.
The cost is $10 per person. Walk-ins welcome, but pre-registration is requested.
