Greenbrier resort owner Jim Justice held a press conference on Tuesday, July 28, to remind area New Orleans Saints fans to buy their tickets early to open training camps. He said that the picnic, set to be held on Sunday, Aug. 9, from 6-7:30 p.m. at The Greenbrier Sports Performance Center where the Saints practice, is likely to sell out, as are the dates when the New England Patriots come to the camp to practice, Wednesday, Aug. 19 and Thursday, Aug. 20. Fans must go to greenbrier.com to purchase tickets to reserve a shuttle to the sports center.
Justice also noted that fan parking has moved to the White Sulphur Springs water plant this year. Go to www.greenbrier.com to make parking reservations. The cost for open practice transportation tickets is $5 for adults and $2 for children 12 and under. The picnic, where the players will sign autographs and mingle with fans, costs $10 a person in addition to the transportation cost.
