According to a press release sent from the City of White Sulphur Springs Police Department, at 5:45 a.m. on Thursday, July 20, Patrolman Morris was notified that Deloris Ann Arnold had been found in the New York City area.
At 9:45 p.m. on Wednesday, July 19, Arnold was brought to the Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital in New York City by ambulance, where she was seen by Dr. Manfready, and treated for a mild infection. Arnold was able to give doctors her daughter’s phone number who they contacted and verified her identity.
At this time we are awaiting her return to White Sulphur Springs and hope she can provide details to the events leading up to when she was found. Funds were donated to the family by the Emmanuel United Methodist Church in White Sulphur Springs for the family to travel to New York City to be with Arnold.
