Ronceverte-Mary Catherine Ramsey Hurd, 92, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at home.
Mary was a long time member of Ronceverte Christian Church in Ronceverte.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Coye Hurd; her parents, A.J. and Ethel Bowden Ramsey; brothers, Grover, Elbert, and Julian “Pat”; and sister, Maxine Beavers.
She is survived by sister, Betty Waugh; brother, Chris Ramsey; son, Gary Hurd and wife Sue; daughters, Helen Hurd and Brenda Bluestone; grandchildren, Cindy and husband Rick, Matthew and wife Kristy, Nate, Dylan and Andrew; great-granddaughters, Brecken and Brenna; and several nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service was held Thursday, May 16 at Elizabeth Chapel Cemetery at Organ Cave, where Pastor Andy Howdock officiated.
In lieu of flowers, donations of sympathy may be made in her memory to HospiceCare, 1265 Maplewood Ave., Lewisburg, WV 24901.
