Lewisburg-Martha Louise Miller, 87, went home to be with her loved ones Monday, Dec. 18, 2023, after a long illness.
Born Oct. 29, 1936, at Providence, RI, she was the only child of Wallace L. and Ernestine Nickse.
Martha was an active member of Lewisburg United Methodist Church for many years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene F. Miller in 1978, a son, James Miller and her best friend, Frances Richardson.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Carole Jones of Lewisburg; her grandchildren, Kristin Crislip of Gap Mills, Michael Jones of Sacramento, CA, and Jacqueline Miller of Alpharetta, GA; several great-grandchildren; and many of her church friends.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 26, at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg, with Pastor Bev Colombo officiating. Private interment will follow in Rosewood Cemetery in Lewisburg.
In lieu of flowers, donations of sympathy may be made to Lewisburg United Methodist Church.
