The State Fair of West Virginia is excited to announce the additions of Luke Combs and MercyMe to the 2018 State Fair Concert Series. Up and coming country music superstar Luke Combs will take the stage Thursday, Aug. 9, while the contemporary Christian Group MercyMe will perform on Saturday, Aug. 11.
Tickets for both of these shows will go on sale Friday, Mar. 9 at 10 a.m. Tickets may only be purchased by calling 1-800-514-ETIX (3849) or by visiting www.statefairofwv.com/entertainment. The State Fair Box Office will open later in the spring.
“We were very lucky to get each of these artists,” State Fair CEO Kelly Collins stated. “Luke Combs was the 2017 Country Music Association’s New Artist of the Year, while the Grammy-nominated MercyMe has a movie being released shortly based on the story of the song “I Can Only Imagine.”
The 2018 State Fair themed “Unforgettable Fun,” is a 10-day fair scheduled Aug. 9-18.
