Local Lowe’s store Manager Tom Simmons says that every year Lowe’s gives back to the local communities that patronize the store.
This week, employees from the local store, including Manager Tom Simmons and Assistant Manager Kelly Weikle, arrived to help with projects at Ronceverte Island Park. They have been painting and repairing all aspects of the park with guidance and assistance from Ronceverte City Administrator Reba Mohler, and Supervisor Rusty Lemons.
The Heroes are also helping to rebuild and restore Ronceverte’s Community Garden by repairing beds damaged in the flood, weed eating, donating soil to the beds, and building raised beds in the greenhouse, says Ronceverte Development-Main Street Executive Director Tammy Rhodes.
The Town of Ronceverte appreciates the Local Heroes of Lowe’s and their hard work and efforts to help our wonderful Community.
