Three Greenbrier County residents have been awarded privately funded scholarships from the Shepherd University Foundation. The Foundation provided close to $2 million in student, faculty, and program support for 2017-18.
Scholarship recipients include:
Alderson: Marisha Noel Carpenter, G.D. Bragaw Scholarship; Alison C. Stewart, James and Katherine Moler Academic Scholarship.
Lewisburg: Kristen Elizabeth Rehak, Carl K. Rauch Fine Arts Scholarship and Burkhart Legacy Trust Scholarship.
Located in West Virginia’s Eastern Panhandle, Shepherd University is a public liberal arts university. Shepherd is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the Council of Public Liberal Arts Colleges (COPLAC).
