Join us on Friday, Sept. 25 beginning at 6 p.m. for an evening of local talent at the White Sulphur Springs Public Library. Musical group Strum Sum featuring Bob DuCharme on the banjo; Mike Reed on mandolin and guitar; Tom Hefner on 12 string guitar and bass; and George Piasecki on bass guitar will be having fun performing their down-home folk music. Their repertoire includes popular songs from Johnny Cash, John Denver and the Eagles to name a few, plus original music inspired by the local area.
During the performance you will also have the opportunity to meet local authoress Glee Nutter who will be selling and signing her newly published book ABC Land, a whimsical and inventive book sure to become a family favorite. Readers of all ages are sure to enjoy traveling with Boss Daddy A, Mama B and their alphabetical crew. This book features the art work of local artist Marie Lewis.
So join us for fun, music, fun, books and more fun. Come and discover the talents of your neighbors. The library is located at 203 West Main Street in White Sulphur Springs between the Episcopal and Presbyterian churches. Our phone number is 304-536-1171 if you have any questions.
