White Sulphur Springs-Linda M. Fury, 84, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2018, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center.
Born June 30, 1934, at Alvon, she was the daughter of the late Orian and Tressie Pinnell Spinks.
Linda was a homemaker and was a member of the White Sulphur Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Clarence Maupin and second husband, Roy Fury; daughter, Vera Lynn Maupin; son, James Garland Maupin; daughter-in-law, Carol Maupin; sister, Janet Spinks McIntire; and brothers-in-law, George McIntire and Richard Cross.
Survivors include three grandchildren, Brandon and David Maupin of White Sulphur Springs and Jay Mace of Charleston; brother, David Spinks; sisters, Roberta Spinks Cross of White Sulphur Springs; Lola Spinks Shrader (Robert) of Lewisburg and Diann Spinks Moran of Parkersburg; great-grandchildren, Luke and Isaac Mace; nephew, Todd McIntire (Katrina) of Charleston and their children, Alex and Conner; nephews, Shawn and Greg Shrader; and niece Nicole Moore.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m., Friday, Nov. 16, at the White Sulphur Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Gene Sizemore officiating. Burial will follow in the Alvon United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of the service at the church.
