The lovely home of Ghee Gozzard was the setting of the Aug. 23 meeting of the Lewisburg House and Garden Club. Timmo and Maria Schleiff presented an extremely informative address entitled “A Year in the Lives of Bees.” They have been beekeeping for about ten years and have become experts. They now have about 100 colonies and produce various kinds of honey for our community. Afterward, Timmo and Maria served comb honey with crackers and brie. A special guest at the meeting was one-year-old Nora Schleiff who participated throughout the discourse.
