The Lewisburg Fire Department is warning people of possible scam. The fire department has received reports of a subject calling requesting donations for the fire department.
Phone numbers are coming up as local numbers, and some numbers are showing up as “Fire Chief” on the caller ID. The Lewisburg Fire Department wants the community to know that they are not soliciting donations and are not making these phone calls. Please DO NOT DONATE to this subject. Law enforcement has been notified, and if you receive a call please contact the Lewisburg Police Department at 304-645-1626.
