Last week city workers painted stop bars and short lane dividers at either end of McClung Street in Lewisburg. The lane markings are a safety improvement to help drivers avoid cutting the corner at this heavily used intersection. This improvement is the first in a series of improvements to calm traffic in the neighborhood and make it safer for pedestrians, bicyclists and drivers alike.
