Lewisburg Behavioral Health Center was held last Thursday at their site in Caldwell next to the Dollar General.
On Thursday, Sept. 4, Rainelle Medical Center celebrated the opening of a new behavioral health center, RMC Lewisburg Behavioral Health Center. The facility announced the start of their new Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) program to treat opioid use disorders.
“We appreciate all the community support,” said Laura Eagle, Director of Behavioral Health at Rainelle Medical Center. “Whenever I first started 13 years ago, we had four people. And over the years we have grown, and I now I think we have 34 people.” She said they employ therapists, psychiatrists, and more. “We are just really excited in our area. We really hope to provide that individualized care that people really need. You aren’t just a number with us, you’re actually a person, and that’s our main focus, on the community.”
