Dear Editor:
Ever try to get hold of your elected officials? Want to discuss issues of importance, with Gov. Morrisey, Rep. Miller, or Senators Justice or Capito? It is almost impossible to reach them. Phone calls are not returned. Letters and emails get a form letter as a response.
They will send you propaganda through social media. They will have controlled photo-ops with safe crowds. Their leaders in Washington have told them not to meet with their constituents.
It has gotten to the point of finding out where officials live and camping outside their homes.
It should not be this way. Our elected officials should be more accessible. Part of their job is to listen to the concerns of their constituents. West Virginia deserves better than Capito, Justice, Miller, and Morrisey.
