White Sulphur Springs-Kenny Garland Milliner, 70, formerly of Landgraff, WV, departed this life Monday, Jan. 27, 2020, at the Brier Nursing Home in Lewisburg.
Kenny was born Sept. 17, 1949, to the late John and Elilabeth Milliner.
He was a graduate of Northfork High School. Upon graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served during the Vietnam Era. Kenny was affiliated with the Baptist Faith. He was employed with ABB in Lewisburg until his health started to decline.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James “Jimmy” Milliner, and his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Kenny leaves to mourn his loss his wife of 32 years, Dorothy Milliner; son, Jerry Gore of Melbourne, Australia; sister, Nadine Milliner-Burns of Winston-Salem, NC; two brothers, Michael (Cecelia) Milliner of Winston-Salem, NC, and Gerald (Tammie) Milliner of Accokeek, MD; mother and father-in-law, Theodore and Alice Sharp of White Sulphur Springs; brother-in-laws, Chester Sharp and wife Tammy, James Sharp and wife Ruth both of White Sulphur Springs; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 8, at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church in White Sulphur Springs, with Rev. Greg Scott, and Pastor Kathie Holland officiating. Burial will follow in Restlawn Cemetery in Bluefield, WV, with Military Honors.
Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to services.
