Dear Editor:
At Dream Weaver, Inc., our primary mission is to help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as their families. Our goal is to help these folks live as normal a life as possible – that includes celebrating Christmas. We want to thank Mr. Jim Justice and The Greenbrier for establishing the Dream Tree for Kids program; it provides Christmas gifts to children in need around West Virginia.
We have worked with the Dream Tree program for several years now, and it has been a big help in ensuring that many can wake up to a gift on Christmas morning. It is truly a great cause, and I hope it continues to expand.
Around the holidays, it is important that we do not forget about those with special needs and their families. For challenged individuals, enjoying Christmas like the rest of us means the world. Taking the time to make Christmas special for those in need is a noble cause.
Jim Justice has a big heart and has always stepped up to help local kids. We owe him our gratitude for starting the Dream Tree for Kids, and hope those in the community will continue to support this amazing program.
