Hillsboro-Judy D. Palmer 73, passed away Friday, July 17, 2020, at her home.
Born July 9, 1947, in Lobilia, WV, she was a daughter of the late Gilbert and Lola Rola Blankenship Workman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John William “Bill” Palmer, and twin sister, Jenny D. Rose.
Judy was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Buckeye, Senior Citizen, and Modern Woodsmen. Judy was a CNA for Greystone Landing, Denmar, and the Pocahontas Center.
Judy is survived by two daughters, Tina Kromoff and husband Mike of Jonesborough, TN, and Gina Duncan of Marlinton and John Duncan of Buckeye; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four brothers, Raymond Workman of Hillsboro, Edra Workman, and Kenneth Workman both of Marlinton, and Durrel Workman of Louisa, VA; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 22, at Trinity Baptist Church in Buckeye with Pastor John Paul Burks officiating. Burial will follow in the Ruckman Cemetery at Mill Point.
Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday, July 21, from 6 until 8 p.m.
