Judy Carol (Alderman) Ramos, 76, of Lewisburg, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Jan. 22, 2026, at Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg, with her family by her side. She was born on Nov. 18, 1949, in Charleston, WV, to the late Doctor Raymond Alderman and Jewell Audrey (Grimes) Alderman.
Judy was a homemaker and a baby-sitter. She attended Pocahontas County schools and was of the Christian faith. Judy enjoyed bowling, watching football, drinking her coffee, chatting with her loved ones on the phone, and had a special fondness for animals, especially her beloved fur baby Annie.
Survivors include her companion of 55 years, James Leonard Ramos, Sr. of Lewisburg; her sons, James L. Ramos, Jr. and his wife Becky, and Raymond Matthew Ramos both of Lewisburg; her daughters, Elizabeth Jewell “Liz” McCallister and her husband Aaron, of Lewisburg, Rebecca G. Vandall and her husband Jeremy, of Crawley; her 15 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and several loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister Clara Frye.
Family and friends are welcome to attend a memorial visitation at Lobban Funeral Home, 205 South Monroe St., Alderson, WV, on Saturday, Feb. 7, from 2 to 4 p.m.
