Joyce Ann Baldwin Rogers, 79, of Bluefield, WV, passed away on Oct. 27, 2024, at WVU Medicine Princeton Community Hospital.
Joyce was born on Jan. 5, 1945, in Cornstalk, WV. She was the daughter of the late Doyle and Alyene Baldwin of Bluefield.
Joyce was a beloved mother, grandmother and devoted friend. Throughout her life, Joyce was known for her kindness, strength, sense of humor, as well as her love for reading, cross stitching, and caring for her two lovable puppies, Maggie and Georgia. Joyce worked as a nurse at St. Luke’s Hospital and Princeton Community Hospital. Her family and friends will remember her for her love of Christmas, sense of humor, kindness and strength to overcome.
She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Rogers, of Bluefield; sister, Sandra Baldwin Cameron, of Elizabeth; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Rogers of Richmond, VA, and Ricky Rogers and Mary Rogers, of Eagle Rock, VA; and great-granddaughter, Serenity Rogers of Eagle Rock, VA.
She is also predeceased by her son, Wayne Rogers of Eagle Rock, VA, and her brother, Roy D. Baldwin, of Johnson City, TN. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those who loved her.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 2, at 1 p.m. at Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville, WV (Greenbrier County).
