Westerville, OH-Joann Lewis Jerrell, born and raised in Prenter, WV, Feb. 6, 1930, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2019.
Joann was preceded in death by husband, Guy Jerrell; mother, Betty Julia Lewis and father, Grover Cleveland Lewis.
Following Guy’s retirement, they moved to White Sulphur Springs. She was of the Baptist Faith and was a true Christian.
She is survived by children, Patricia Thompson, Carolyn Sue Jarrell and Julia Ann Cooper, and grandchildren, Hunter Lee and (Deborah) Cooper, Shane Alexander (Ashley) Cooper, Guy Robert Thompson, Amy Lynn Szwerluga and Brent Parsons; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be on Sunday, Aug. 25, at 2 p.m. at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg with Pastor Ralph Hubbard officiating. Interment will follow in Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville.
