Gently used jewelry is piling up in everyone’s home, isn’t it? Like myself, I am sure many of us have a few, perhaps gaudy pieces, or not so gaudy, which we will never ever wear again. Well now there is a worthy way to rid yourself of unwanted treasure.
High Rock Educational Corporation’s Sarah Riley spoke to Lewisburg Rotary on Jan. 13. She announced a jewelry drive as part of an upcoming fundraiser. They will be selling new or gently used pieces. Riley says, “If it sparkles, we’re interested.”
High Rocks will arrange to pick up your donations or you may mail them in at your convenience. They ask that you estimate the value of your donation when you provide it. As a 501(c)3 organization, any donation will be tax deductable.
To donate by mail please contact Renae Anderson at renae@highrocks.org. A phone number to call is 304-653-4891.
The details and dates of the sale will be announced.
