Jerry Alton Harvey of Alderson passed away peacefully Sunday, July 14, 2024, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital following a long illness. Jerry was born February 19, 1958, in Clintonville, a son of the late Burl Sandy and Gayla June Harvey.
Jerry is survived by his wife Martina Highlander Harvey; brother, Alan and wife Bethie of Clintonville; sister Elaine “Prid” and husband Steve of Mechanicsville, VA; special nephews, Nick and wife Emilea and Zak, special niece, Ali and husband Whit, and many other cherished family members and friends.
Jerry loved and excelled in carpentry, construction and handyman repairs. He was a perfectionist and highly skilled and sought after in these areas. He loved to read Westerns, loved the outdoors, going to the beach and especially fishing from Nags Head Pier.
In keeping with Jerry’s wishes he will be cremated with no services.
