Lewisburg-James Robert Kersey, 75, formerly of White Sulphur Springs, passed away Saturday, Mar. 17, 2018, at the Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg.
James was born May 15, 1942 in White Sulphur Springs, the son of the late Eugenia Virginia Kersey.
James was a wonderful, outgoing person who liked everyone and was liked by everyone who came in contact with him. In his youth he showed cattle at the WV State Fair.
Surviving are his sister, Ruth Nester of Glace and all his special acquaintances that he made in his lifetime,
Funeral services were held Thursday, Mar. 22, at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs where Pastor Gary Baker officiated. Interment followed in Hillcrest Cemetery at White Sulphur Springs.
Friends called at the funeral home Thursday before the service.
