Maxwelton-James Hull “Pat” Simmons, 71, passed away Sunday, Aug. 18, 2019, at the Greenbrier Health Care Center, Lewisburg.
Born Sept. 10, 1947, at Renick, he was the son of the late Leatrice Marie Simmons Sharp.
He was formerly employed by Adkins Auto Parts as a Parts Manager.
Including his mother, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Helen “Midge” Blankenship Simmons.
Survivors include his stepfather, David “Buster” Sharp; daughter, Samantha Crone of Renick; brothers, John Sharp of Ronceverte and Joe Sharp of Lewisburg; sister, Jacklyn Clutter (Todd) of Ronceverte; grandchildren, Jamie Crone, Heather Tincher (Michael) and Robbie Crone (Myka); great-grandson, Greyson Tincher; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was held on Tuesday, Aug. 20, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, Lewisburg, where Pastor Hat Defibaugh officiated. Burial followed in the Lewis Chapel Cemetery, Vago Road, Maxwelton.
Visitation was one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Tuesday.
