Lewisburg-James Edward Martin, 62, passed away suddenly Monday, Apr. 29, 2019.
Jim was born Sept. 21, 1956, in Ronceverte, the son of the late James W. and Mary Alice Deem Martin.
He was a former employee of Mountain International with 30 plus years of service and current manager of Lewie’s in Lewisburg.
Preceding him in death other than his parents were his brother, William Ray Martin and granddaughter, Addalyn Martin.
He is survived by his wife Kathy Lewis Martin; sons, James Christopher Martin (Amy), Alan Leigh Martin (Alexandra) and Thomas Andrew Martin; grandchildren, Alexis Fitzgerald, Taylor Martin, Haven Martin, Brighton Martin, Aiden Martin and Audrey Martin; sister, Mary L. Hefner; brother-in-law, Karl Terry Hefner; and niece and nephews, Tara Webb, Michael Hefner and B. J. Hefner.
In keeping with his wishes, his body will be cremated with no services being planned.
