The Irish Pub on Washington Street is celebrating its 8th Anniversary on Saturday, Nov. 22. Since opening its doors on Nov. 22, 2006, the Irish Pub on Washington Street has grown into what a real Irish Pub should be: a meeting place for neighbors and friends, local and traveler, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere, good hearty food, lively music and, of course, a frothy pint.
“The people of this area are what help make this place so special,” Patrick O’Flaherty said. “We are honored to have been a part of this community for so long and would like to thank all of our loyal customers for their support and company these past eight years.”
In celebration of the milestone, the Irish Pub is hosting a birthday party with live music, and an old menu favorite, corn beef hash. In addition, there will be birthday cake served at 8 p.m. A free pint will be served to all patrons who come in with something bronze, a traditional gift for an eighth anniversary. Slainte!
