On Saturday, Oct. 20, the Boys Home of Virginia will host the Howl-O-Ween Hustle 5K and Kids Fun Run!

The public is invited to enjoy this family-friendly trail race in the beautiful Alleghany Highlands. Families, runners, kids, and pets can join in for a fun run, a 5K run/walk, costume contests, face painting, games, snacks, and drinks.

Detailed race day schedule:

8 a.m. – Race day registration and packet pickup

9:30 a.m. – Kids Fun Run

10 a.m. – 5K Run/Walk

11 a.m. – Awards for runners and costume contest participants

The event will have T-shirts for all runners, medals for the kids, and snacks and prizes donated by our generous local businesses.

Individual tickets cost $30, and family tickets cost $50. All proceeds go toward supporting the students and programs at Boys Home of Virginia.
